In this article, you will learn about Amobee's Custom Reports to help monitor, analyze, and optimize your campaigns on the Amobee Platform.
Amobee's Custom Reports offers cross-channel reporting capabilities for your programmatic and social campaigns. Benefits include:
- Scheduling reports based on your market's time zone or running ad hoc reports.
- Analyzing your campaign's delivery and performance for campaign optimizations.
- Sending reports via email, FTP, or AWS.
- Creating custom reports across all the major social platforms, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, that include various dimensions and metrics.
- Generating a single report for cross-channel metrics that provides a holistic view.
There are two ways to navigate to Custom Reports.
- Within Reports, go to Custom Reports in the left menu.
- Within Campaigns, go to the insertion order, package, or line item page. Click Analytics and then Custom Report. A new tab will open for Custom Reports.
- Enter a name for the report.
- For the Report Type, select Programmatic Only.
- Select the advertiser(s) you want to see data for in the report.
- Search for and select the dimensions and metrics you want to include.
- Update the output settings.
- Specify how you would like the data aggregated.
- Select the output and date format.
- Select the currency.
- Update the report schedule.
- Select the frequency.
- If you schedule the report to run daily, weekly, or monthly, the scheduled report will be sent as early as 6am (and generally by 9am) in your market's time zone.
- Specify the date range.
- Enter the email address(es) of the recipient(s).
- You also have the option to send the report via FTP or AWS.
- For FTP, you need to enter the host, port, username, password, and remote file path.
- For AWS, you need to enter the AWS access key ID, S3 bucket path, secret access key, and region name.
- Select the frequency.
- Click Submit.
Access to the social reporting application is only available by request at this time, please reach out to your Account Manager for more information.
In order to enable social reports, you must first onboard your social accounts to the Amobee Platform. When you first onboard an account, by default you will be able to see data for the last 7 days. If you would like to view campaign data beyond 30 days, contact your Account Manager to initiate a data backfill request.
- Enter a name for the report.
- For the Report Type, select Social Only.
- Select the advertiser(s) you want to see data for in the report.
- Search for and select the dimensions and metrics you want to include.
- If you don’t have any campaigns running on a social platform, the report will not show any data.
- Update the output settings.
- Specify how you would like the data aggregated.
- Select the output and date format.
- Update the report schedule.
- Select the frequency.
- Specify the date range.
- Enter the email address(es) of the recipient(s).
- You also have the option to send the report via FTP or AWS.

- Click Submit.
